Routine GP Appointments
We feel it is very important to be able to book appointments in advance. Routine GP appointments can be pre-booked up to 2 weeks in advance. Every day a fresh batch of appointments are released at 8:30am for up to 2 weeks in advance; every day the allocation of appointments are used, so unfortunately we may ask you to call back to take advantage of the next batch of appointments.
Booked Telephone Consultations
We are very aware that our patients lead busy lives. We now offer booked telephone appointments with a Doctor. Many issues that don’t require physical examinations can be successfully dealt with over the telephone. We ask when booking these, that you remain by your telephone with a good signal; the Doctor is unable to keep ringing if you do not answer.
Urgent “same day” Appointments
All patients who wish to be seen urgently will usually be offered a telephone triage by a Doctor. By using a triage service we are able to ensure that clinically urgent problems are prioritised, urgent problems will be seen within 24 hours; to help the triage Doctor prioritise calls, it is very helpful if the Doctor has a brief reason for needing to see/speak to a Doctor therefore please do not be offended when the reception ask for more information here.
